Amy Austin
Amy Austin's vocal performance career began in 2016 when she learned "Smanie implacabili" from Così Fan Tutte to audition for Comet Opera's inaugural production of The Marriage of Figaro (2017), in which she made her opera debut. Outside Comet Opera, she has sung in Italy with Opera in Concert, and her stage credits include Penelope Pennywise (Urinetown, Theatre UTD 2018), Lucy T. Slut (Avenue Q, Theatre UTD 2016), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Theatre UTD 2016). She holds a B.A. in visual and performing arts with a concentration in music from UT Dallas and is pursuing a Masters of Vocal Performance at Texas Women's University. In addition to singing, she also plays the flute.
This artist is an alumnus of UT Dallas.
