Campus Opportunities

Novis is a student-run a capella ensemble, performing at concerts and events all around campus.

Chamber Singers is a vocal ensemble of around 24 experienced choral singers, which performs at least two concerts a semester.

University Choir is a large mixed chorus open to all students, performing choral works from all periods. No audition required!

Theatre UTD, the official theatre department, produces a variety of modern and classic works. Auditions are open to all!

Off-Campus

Opera in Concert produces unusual works locally each season and takes 14 students to Italy to study opera every summer.

Open Classical DFW is a low-stakes, encouraging open mic held every Tuesday night for singers and instrumentalists.

Opera on Tap provides concert opportunities where singers can meet each other and show off their favorite pieces. Recommended for ages 21+, as most concerts are held in bars.
