Get Involved
Comet Opera depends on artists like you to create our productions! If you are a singer, pianist, director, costumer, designer, or otherwise involved in theatre, we invite you to join us at auditions. Shows are almost never fully cast from the first run of auditions, so send us an email even if the production is underway.
We rely on our offstage stars as well as our performers! Volunteer to help with a single performance, a production, or a season. In return, you’ll receive up to 4 reserved seats for the night of your choice.
Ways to help:
- Put out posters/hand out flyers
- Direct patrons to the building
- Usher and hand out programs
- Sell concessions and merchandise

Join centuries of tradition by supporting your opera company! Patronage makes opera possible. Some ways your donation might be used:
