Ivey Barr

This Season: Sesto in Tito

An inveterate performer of pants roles, Ivey Barr made her opera debut in 2017 as Mozart's Cherubino and went on to appear in, translate for, coach, music-direct, advertise, and organize new productions for Comet Opera. Elsewhere, she has appeared with Little Opera Company of Charlotte, Opera in Concert in Italy, Public Works Dallas at Dallas Theater Center, Opera on Tap, Voces Intimae, Dallas Classical Singers, in concert with pianist Lauren Barr, and sings regularly at Arapaho United Methodist Church. She currently studies with Edward Crafts of Opera in Concert, where she also does marketing and website work, and with vocal coach Stephen Dubberly.
